As a Capital Markets Analyst at Saarthee, your role will involve utilizing your technical skills in SQL and Python to support analytics across trading, risk, and reference data. You will collaborate closely with business teams to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions, automate manual workflows, and contribute to post-trade optimization efforts. Additionally, you will create technical documentation, data dictionaries, and internal control frameworks to enhance data transparency and operational workflows. Your responsibilities will include: - Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts for analytics - Partner with trading, risk, and compliance teams to provide technical solutions - Automate manual workflows and assist in building internal tools - Contribute to post-trade optimization efforts with a focus on settlement and regulatory reporting - Create and maintain technical documentation and data dictionaries - Support cross-functional initiatives to enhance data transparency and workflows To excel in this role, you must possess: - 4-8 years of experience in capital markets, preferably in trading, risk analytics, or operations - Strong command of SQL and Python for analytics and automation - Understanding of financial instruments like equities, fixed income, and derivatives - Familiarity with trade lifecycle, market data structures, and post-trade processes - Exposure to regulatory frameworks like T+1, Dodd-Frank, or Basel - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills - Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields This job description provides a summary of your core responsibilities and qualifications.
