Position: Full-Time Cameraman and Video Editor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Cameraman and Video Editor to join our dynamic ministry team in Ernakulam. In this dual role, you will be responsible for capturing and producing high-quality video content that communicates the heart of our ministry. From filming live services to editing compelling stories, your work will be crucial in engaging our community and reaching a wider audience online. Key Responsibilities:

• Camera Operation: Operate video cameras to capture church services, sermons, worship sessions, special events, and other ministry activities.
• Live Production: Manage live streaming of services and events, ensuring a high-quality and seamless broadcast for our online viewers.
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos for our YouTube channel, social media pages, website, and other digital platforms. This includes color correction, audio mixing, adding graphics, and creating various cuts.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the ministry team to conceptualize, shoot, and edit promotional videos, testimonies, event highlights, and other creative video projects.
• Technical Management: Set up, manage, and maintain all video, audio, and lighting equipment. Keep all gear organized and in excellent working condition.
• Media Archiving: Systematically archive and manage all video files and media assets for easy retrieval and future use.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in both videography and video editing. A portfolio showcasing both camera and editing skills is required.
• Proficiency in operating a range of cameras, including DSLR, mirrorless, and camcorders.
• Strong expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional tools.
• Solid understanding of shot composition, lighting techniques, and clear audio capture.
• Experience with live streaming production and software (e.g., OBS, vMix) is highly advantageous.
• Creative thinking with an eye for detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to completion and meet deadlines.
• A team player with excellent communication skills who can work collaboratively within a ministry setting.
• Punctual, reliable, and respectful of the church's vision and values.
