Calypso QA - Regression Testing

As a part of this project with a well-known financial services organization in Sydney, currently utilizing Calypso V16.1 for Fixed income and IR derivatives business, your role involves establishing a cost-effective regression testing service for Rates and Credit regression cycles. Key Responsibilities: - Set up a regression testing service across the Rates and Credit Technology Stack, covering both ad-hoc and regular monthly regression testing activities. - Ensure regression application coverage includes Calypso, Markit Analytics, Markitwire, and potentially other agreed applications. - Maintain the existing regression test automation and initiate activities to uplift the automation scope in alignment with stakeholders. - Review the automation tooling in place, define the target state, and plan for implementation. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4+ years in IT with at least 2 years of experience in Calypso Regression Testing. - Proficiency in regression execution, automated test execution, test processes, Calypso, and Test Automation (CATT). - Strong knowledge of Calypso Front and/or Back office modules, along with technical skills in SQL/UNIX, FPML, and XML. - Comfortable with test planning and execution, with prior experience in Calypso Regression testing. - Some understanding of financial markets such as Rates, Commodities, Fixed Income, FX, and Derivatives would be beneficial. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Understanding of Markitwire and Markit Analytics. - Experience in Calypso FO/BO configuration or development would be advantageous.,
