As an Instrument Technician in the Oil & Gas industry based in Abu Dhabi, your main responsibility will be to handle the installation, calibration, testing, maintenance, and repair of field instrumentation and control systems. These tasks are crucial to guaranteeing the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant facilities while ensuring compliance with site standards and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and calibrating various field instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters, switches, control valves, analyzers, and gauges. You will need to proficiently read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and instrument datasheets to execute correct installation and maintenance activities.
