CAD Technician - Highways

As a CAD Technician joining the UK GCC Communities team in Bengaluru, you will work in collaboration with the UK discipline on various infrastructure projects. Your role will involve developing engineering drawings from feasibility to construction stages while adhering to relevant standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently develop engineering drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other engineering software. - Play an active role in the design process across multiple projects simultaneously. - Contribute to various infrastructure schemes and projects. - Follow Health and Safety policies and procedures diligently. **Key Competencies / Skills:** **Mandatory Skills:** - Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD or MicroStation to develop layouts, design details, and other design concepts. - Interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings to assist in resolving engineering issues. - Transform basic sketches into full working drawings. - Coordinate with design teams for efficient drawing production. - Familiarity with relevant technical design guidance and standards. - Strong communication skills and ability to seek clarification when needed. **Desired Skills:** - Knowledge of Civil 3D. - Experience with UK Highways projects and design standards is advantageous. **Qualifications:** - ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 3-7 years of post-graduate experience. - Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation user certification.,
