CAD Technician

As a CAD Drafter at Archnetix Private Limited, your primary responsibilities will include: - Drafting & Detailing: - Producing accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD from various sources. - Creating and modifying CAD drawings to support BIM coordination. - Ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications. - CAD to BIM Conversion & Integration: - Assisting in converting 2D CAD drawings into 3D BIM models in Revit. - Integrating CAD data into Revit models with proper scaling and alignment. - Cleaning and preparing CAD files for import into BIM software. - Documentation & Deliverables: - Generating CAD drawings from point cloud data. - Preparing drawing sets for different project phases. - Managing drawing revisions and maintaining accurate registers. - Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC): - Performing self-QA/QC checks on all drafted work. - Identifying and resolving drawing inconsistencies or errors. - Collaboration & Communication: - Working closely with BIM Modelers, Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers. - Effectively communicating technical information. - Standard Adherence: - Strictly adhering to company CAD standards and BIM Execution Plans. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Education: Diploma or ITI in Civil Drafting, Mechanical Drafting, Architectural Drafting, or related field. - Experience: Minimum 2 years in CAD drafting within the AEC industry. - Software Proficiency: Expert-level in AutoCAD, basic to intermediate in Revit, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. - Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of drafting principles, orthographic projections, and CAD standards. - Core Competencies: Attention to detail, spatial reasoning, time management, and communication skills.
