CAD - Patter Master

You will be responsible for creating initial patterns for various types of shirts (formal, casual, dress shirts) utilizing CAD software such as ORBITO and GEMINI. Your role will involve interpreting technical sketches, spec sheets, and measurements to develop precise base patterns. Additionally, you will convert manual patterns into digital formats, ensuring standardization across all patterns. In terms of fit and technical adjustments, you will conduct and engage in fit trials with sample garments to assess and enhance fit, shape, and drape. Any necessary corrections to patterns based on fitting feedback and construction challenges will be within your purview. You will also be tasked with maintaining consistency in fit across different shirt styles and size ranges. Grading and sizing will be a key aspect of your role, as you will grade shirt patterns according to standard or customer-specific size charts. It will be imperative to ensure that patterns are production-ready with accurate seam allowances, notches, grainlines, and labeling. Your responsibilities will extend to sampling and coordination, where you will collaborate with sample tailors, merchandisers, and the QA team to guarantee precise sample execution. Providing clear pattern specifications to the sampling and cutting teams will be essential. You will troubleshoot any issues that arise during sample development related to fit, pattern, or construction. Maintaining a digital archive of all shirt patterns and grading sets will be part of your duties. You will need to keep pattern files well-organized and up-to-date with version control. Ensuring that patterns comply with buyer requirements and quality standards will also be crucial. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund.
