CAD Engineer

As a CAD Engineer on a contractual basis in Dombivli, your role will involve supporting the product design team to achieve global growth targets by generating and maintaining drawings and BOMs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for the valves product line. Key Responsibilities: - Convert legacy data and review drawings with existing manufacturing components. - Create part and assembly models using smart CAD practices (solid and surface modeling). - Perform tolerance stack-up analysis. - Prepare complete drawing packages including manufacturing drawings, assemblies, GADs, and BOMs. - Collaborate with design, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering teams to meet product design requirements. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 years of experience in the valves or pump industry. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, familiarity with PLM/EPDM systems and standards like ASME, API, EN. Solid/surface modeling certification in SolidWorks is preferred. Experience with CAD customization is a plus. - Soft Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills, methodical approach with attention to detail. Comfortable working in an international environment with professional English proficiency. As a tech-savvy and agile CAD Engineer, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
