Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance CAD-based applications and tools.
Integrate and customize CAD features using APIs and SDKs (e.g., SolidWorks API, AutoCAD ObjectARX, OpenCASCADE).
Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements.
Optimize existing CAD tools for performance and usability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Conduct code reviews and support testing teams during validation.

Preferred candidate profile

Proficiency in C++, C#, or Python.
Experience with one or more CAD platforms: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, etc.
Good understanding of geometry modeling, constraint solvers, and CAD data formats (STEP, IGES, DXF/DWG).
Familiarity with software development tools like Git, Jira, Visual Studio.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with OpenCASCADE or similar open-source CAD kernels.
Knowledge of CAM, CAE integration is a plus.
Exposure to UI development using Qt or WPF is desirable.
