Job Description

As a CAD - Design Engineer at Siemens Digital Industries, you will be a part of an innovative and technology-driven organization that leads the way in industrial automation and digitalization. Working closely with partners and customers, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation in the discrete and process industries. Your contribution will directly impact the development of state-of-the-art high-speed trains and intelligent robots, making meaningful things a reality. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation of General specification of Instrumentation / Design Basis - Preparation of Instrument Index - Datasheet of Instruments (Pressure, temperature, flow, level, Analyser, Fire and Gas devices, control valves, etc.) - Selection/ sizing calculation for control valves, flow elements/ meters, thermowell, DP Level calculation, etc. - Creating Hookup and Installation Drawings - Designing Cable Tray Layouts - Generating Instrument Loop drawings - Developing Instrument and JB location drawings Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics - Certification in CAD / 3D Design - 3 to 5 years of experience in design of instrumentation drawings / documents In this role, you will be based in Airoli Navi Mumbai, India, where you will collaborate with diverse teams that have a significant impact on entire cities, countries, and the future.
