CAD Design Data Specialist-Mechanical/Industrial Engineering

Role Description:

SoftAge is looking to hire Mechanical or Industrial Engineers with CAD expertise to contribute to a high-impact AI training project for a global client. Engineers will use standard CAD tools to execute realistic design tasks, record design actions, and annotate processes for training AI foundation models.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform hands-on mechanical and industrial design tasks using tools like Fusion 360 (F3D), SolidWorks, etc.
2. Record all actions, design intent, and decisions in the required format during the design process.
3. Evaluate existing CAD models and provide technical and/or aesthetic feedback as requested.
4. Collaborate with the internal lead and the client team to follow task specifications accurately.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or Industrial Engineering.
2. Candidates from premier engineering institutes (NIRF ranking 30) will be given preference.
3. Proficiency in CAD software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
4. Ability to create and modify 3D CAD models with clarity of design intent.
5. Good communication skills and ability to follow structured tasks.
6. Prior experience in design documentation, data annotation or working in AI data environments is a plus.

Additional Information:

1. All hired personnel must sign a confidentiality and invention assignment agreement approved by the client.
2. This is an on-premise, project-based role.
3. Performance and adherence to process quality will be closely monitored and audited
