CAD / CAM Engineer

The CAD/CAM Engineer position is an exciting opportunity to join a leading diamond and jewelry company based in Seepz, Andheri E, Mumbai. As a CAD/CAM Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in multi-axis CAD/CAM software operation and CNC programming to enhance production efficiency and support the development of new jewelry products. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in CAD/CAM software operation and CNC programming. The ideal candidate will be proficient in software such as VISI, MasterCam, SolidWorks, Rhino, and AutoCAD, and possess strong skills in CNC programming, machine operation, and process development. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize CAD/CAM software for part programming and tool path generation. - Develop and optimize part programs for CNC machines to ensure precision and efficiency. - Validate and prove programs directly on CNC machines. - Support the development of new jewelry products on the shop floor. - Enhance CNC machine performance by reducing product cycle time. - Prepare detailed drawings for cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures as required.
