Job Description

Embedded Product Test Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing)

Work Location: Pune (On-site)

Experience Required: 5 - 10 years

Education Requirement: B.Tech only

Role & Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for embedded products.
Perform functional, regression, and system-level testing of embedded systems.
Develop automated test scripts using Python (OOPs).
Work with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
Test communication interfaces like Modbus, Ethernet, HART, and Fieldbus.
Identify, report, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the lifecycle.
Prepare and maintain detailed test reports and documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

5 - 10 years of experience in embedded product testing (manual & automation).
Proficient in Python programming with Object-Oriented concepts.
Hands-on experience with communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, HART, Fieldbus).
Strong knowledge of lab instruments for product validation.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Self-starter, able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
(Good to have) Exposure to Industrial Automation/Instrumentation domain, C++ unit testing, Agile practices, CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins).
