Your role: As a financial controller at UBS, your responsibilities will include: - Implementing accounting controls and managing their governance - Compiling and analyzing financial information for the Finance team - Reconciling trade capture system feeds to the general ledger and managing journal entries - Preparing financial statements and other financial reports for the business and external auditors - Collaborating on continuous improvement of quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of controls - Confirming compliance with IFRS standards Your team: You will be working in the FA Swiss LEC team in EON 1 Pune. Your expertise: To excel in this role, you should have: - An accountancy qualification, bachelors, masters degree, or equivalent in accounting or a related field - Ideally, 2 years of previous experience in a similar role focusing on data analysis, financial reporting, and reconciliation - Demonstrated knowledge of banking products - Skills to develop a robust set of controls for the financials (cost and revenue) of a global business - Analytical and methodical mindset with great attention to detail - Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt style to the audience About us: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
