C Specialist

As a Software Development Specialist, your role involves working on problems of diverse scope that require analyzing data and evaluating identifiable factors. You must have strong knowledge of C# technologies and debugging code. Your responsibilities include: - Demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions - Networking with senior internal and external personnel in your area of expertise - Working on migration efforts of critical, industry-class, in-house, or commercial products - Tooling for use in project work - Extending runtime C# libraries with new functionality - Creating custom plugins for existing tools - Delivering within the scope of the project without compromising on quality - Collaborating closely with team members and clients - Mentoring junior team members on Mainframe migration - Identifying and bridging the knowledge gap among team members from different backgrounds - Profiling the migrated application to detect any performance problems and improvements in the C# code - Demonstrating expert database development knowledge - Thriving in an environment of collaboration and change Qualifications required for this role include: - BE in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - 7+ years of Development professional experience in .NET/C# - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Understanding of .NET Framework and .NET (core), C# 8-13 - Interest in learning about legacy technologies - Certifications in any cloud technologies - Experience with Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies - Strong object-oriented programming and debugging skills - Willingness to learn Mainframe Technologies (COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, etc) Additionally, experience in unit testing, test-driven development, integration testing, and deployment using cloud technologies, as well as scripting/Python development experience, will be advantageous for this role.,
