C++ PROGRAMMING

You should have good experience in Advance versions of C++ programming (C++11, C++14, C++17) along with strong proficiency in C++ including memory management, threading, and common debugging patterns. Additionally, you must possess experience in Linux and Automotive knowledge. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing core dumps, stack traces, and runtime logs to diagnose and resolve crashes, memory issues, and other bugs in C++ applications. Reproducing bugs, identifying root causes, and implementing robust code fixes will be part of your tasks. It is essential to utilize debugging tools like GDB, ASan, Valgrind, etc. for in-depth analysis of application failures across different platforms. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing internal debugging workflows, including symbol management, logging practices, and post-mortem analysis tools. Furthermore, contributing to code reviews and incident postmortems is crucial to ensure the long-term stability and reliability of the software system. Your proficiency in debugging tools such as GDB, ASan, Valgrind, as well as AI tools like Cursor for analyzing core dumps and runtime failures is required. Understanding OS-level concepts like process memory layout, stack/heap segmentation, and signal handling, especially in Linux/Unix environments, is essential. The ability to read and interpret stack traces and logs efficiently to identify root causes of crashes, exceptions, or performance issues is important. Experience with the Bazel build system and proficiency in Python are also necessary for this role.,
