C++ Programmer

As a Software Developer (C/C++) with 1-6 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to work on the client's internal proprietary language using C/C++. You should have a strong technical background with at least 1+ years of commercial software development experience. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing customer requests and producing solution artefacts and estimations - Conducting peer reviews of solution artefacts - Developing, maintaining, deploying, and supporting solutions throughout the implementation life cycles - Generating relevant documentation for knowledge transfer - Actively participating in planning, stand-ups, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog grooming - Establishing strong business relationships with customers - Ensuring standards and procedures are followed within the team - Identifying and addressing relevant risks, providing resolution recommendations - Performing basic network and database tasks - Communicating with customers through all communication channels - Providing advice to customers on the optimal use of Gentrack products - Offering guidance on industry best practices - Collaborating as part of an integrated business team to deliver optimal business solutions - Acting as a positive influencer for technical best practices - Being open to working with the proprietary language Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors Degree in computer science, Science, Software Engineering, or comparable professional development and commercial experience - Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology - Familiarity with technologies such as Object-Oriented Design, Enterprise Database, AWS, GIT, WebServices, CRM, and Utilities industry Please note that candidates with backgrounds in Embedded, Automotive, CAD, CATIA, or Security domains will not be accepted for this position.
