Role Description Strategic sales leader needed to drive national and regional growth for a pioneering water storage solutions firm. Lead high-performing sales teams, build strategic partnerships, and expand market reach across India. Ideal candidates bring 12+ years’ leadership in B2B sales, strong negotiation, and vision to scale business in industrial and infrastructure segments. Ready to lead transformative growth? Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) Develop and implement strategic sales plans at national and regional levels. Lead and mentor sales teams, driving performance and target achievement. Build strong relationships with key clients, government, and partners. Expand market share, acquire new business, and penetrate new sectors. Oversee sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure and contract negotiation. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution and alignment. Represent the company in industry forums to enhance brand visibility. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Achievement of sales and revenue targets quarterly and annually. Growth in market share and healthy sales pipeline. Number of new strategic accounts acquired and retention of existing ones. Sales team quota attainment and reduction in sales cycle time. Accuracy and timeliness of sales forecasts and reporting. Expansion and effectiveness of partner and distributor networks. Client satisfaction and repeat business rates. Required Skills and Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Environmental) or Business; MBA preferred. 15-20 years of experience in sales leadership or business development, with at least 5 years in regional/national roles. Proven track record of scaling revenue in B2B industrial, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors. Strong strategic thinking, execution, & leadership skills to manage and mentor regional/national teams. Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience managing government contracts, large EPC deals, and enterprise accounts. Ability to analyze market data, forecast sales accurately, and drive operational excellence. Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools. Willingness to travel extensively across India and internationally (for National Sales Head).
