C++ Developer

The purpose of the role is to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that need to be deployed at a client's end and ensure they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be instrumental in understanding the requirements and design of the product/software. This includes developing software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. You will investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle, facilitate root cause analysis of system issues, and identify ideas to improve system performance. Collaboration with functional teams or systems analysts for detailed investigation into software requirements is essential. Moreover, conferring with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities is part of the role. Another key aspect of the role involves performing coding and ensuring optimal software/module development. This includes determining operational feasibility, developing and automating processes for software validation, modifying software to fix errors or improve performance, and analyzing information to recommend new systems or modifications to existing systems. Ensuring code is error-free, preparing reports on programming project specifications, and compiling comprehensive documentation are also part of the responsibilities. Your role will also involve status reporting and maintaining a customer focus on an ongoing basis concerning the project and its execution. Capturing all requirements and clarifications from the client, taking feedback regularly to ensure timely delivery, and participating in continuing education to remain current on best practices are vital. Consulting with engineering staff, documenting and demonstrating solutions, and ensuring good quality interaction with customers are also important aspects of the role. In terms of deliverables, you will be measured on continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software, quality, customer satisfaction, MIS, and reporting. Adherence to schedules, on-time delivery, troubleshooting queries, and completion of assigned certifications for skill enhancement are key performance parameters.
