Qualifications:

• Have a Bachelors Degree in computer science or engineering
• 7+ years of experience coding and developing advanced control systems
• Strong programming experience with C++ - minimum 5+ yrs proven real time experience in C++
• Experience writing, debugging multithreaded code
• Experience of architecture and design for complex software systems
• Familiarity and/or real time experience with communication protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT
• Familiarity and/or real time experience with TLS encryption, HTTPS, Certificates.
• Candidates must have experience working in product-based companies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Omron FINS, Siemens S7, Emerson/Fisher ROC, ABB Totalflow (DB/DB2).
• Experience with .NET, C#
• Experience with cloud IoT platforms such as AWS and Azure is a plus
• Strong understanding of security across devices, connectivity, cloud, and user interfaces.
