Job Description

You will be responsible for monitoring team performance and providing support to ensure timely closure of transactions. Your role will involve allocating work to team members, increasing the vendor database, and facilitating cost savings for the organization. You will conduct PR-PO process awareness training for internal stakeholders and actively contribute to Purchase Process automation and improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Allocate Approved Purchase Requests to respective buyers - Monitor team members" performance - Provide continuous guidance and support to the team - Increase the vendor database - Manage email communication efficiently - Engage with internal customers regularly - Liaise with external vendors/suppliers for obtaining quotes and finalizing agreements - Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure the best deals - Obtain necessary approvals for high-value transactions from the Purchase committee - Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders - Submit timesheets as required Key Performance Indicators: - Adherence to daily schedule - Meeting committed deadlines - Strict adherence to SLAs for approving Purchase Orders - Compliance with processes and policies - Achieving cost savings of 8-12% through vendor negotiations - Obtaining prior approvals for high-value transactions - Delivering expected outcomes within stipulated SLAs and guidelines Teamwork: - Work under the supervision of the Global Purchase Head as needed Policies & Processes: - Drive improvements in policy and process compliance Confidentiality: - Maintain confidentiality of all transactions Query Response & Resolution: - Respond to and resolve queries promptly on a daily basis Stakeholder Management: - Manage internal customers effectively - Handle relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors Key Skills: - Excellent negotiation skills - Strong communication abilities - Ability to close deals within deadlines - Effective time management - Collaboration skills Knowledge Areas: - In-depth understanding of Purchase Policy and Process - Proficiency in procurement systems - Sound knowledge of business and functional aspects related to procurement - Familiarity with Vendor Selection Process and management - Expertise in Vendor negotiation process - System-oriented approach in implementing new programs and processes Additional Comments: - Demonstrate advanced knowledge in your field and contribute to the organization's values - Adhere to all Company policies and procedures - Provide informal guidance to new team members - Solve problems using technical expertise and judgment - Impact the quality of work within the team - Communicate complex information effectively to others,
