Business & Testing Analyst

As a Business and Testing Analyst within the Strategic Platform Transformation team, you will be responsible for implementing & industrializing business-driven decision making at scale. You will work on complex projects with exposure to multiple products and trade flows to contribute significantly to various Strategic Transformation Programs. Your role will involve partnering with line subject matter experts to determine detailed business requirements, contribute to solutions and designs, and perform end-to-end functional testing. You will leverage your expertise in promoting conversations and influencing decisions with Business/Stakeholders and Technology. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand and analyze requirements and specifications to determine testing needs. - Develop test plans and strategies outlining the scope, approach, and schedule of testing activities. - Create detailed test cases and scenarios based on requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive coverage. - Collaborate with technology, business partners, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage where required. - Possess thorough technical and operational knowledge within the QA area of responsibility. - Document and report all errors/faults and ensure resolution, including re-testing as required. - Coordinate tracking and resolution of defects using the defect management process in JIRA. - Provide timely scorecard, status reporting, and participate in UAT communication calls with technology, QA, and program teams. - Support integration of enhancements upon completion of testing, including training and updating standard operating procedures as necessary. - Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to succeed in delivery. **Qualification Required:** - Hold a Bachelor's degree or above. - 4+ years of relevant testing & business analysis experience. - Understanding of basic testing concepts, types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance), and testing methodologies. - Test management experience within the Financial Services industry supporting multiple lines of business delivering in a highly complex and high-volume environment. - Ability to learn new tools, concepts & communicate clearly, effectively on both technical and business levels.
