Business Systems Analyst Senior

As a Business Systems Analyst Senior, you will be responsible for the following: - Work with the Product Owner and team members to understand the product vision and features. - Direct efforts with other Business Analysts to ensure thorough analysis and translation of business requirements into user stories. - Identify areas of Product Features needing additional information from subject matter experts to define user stories. - Conduct meetings and interview stakeholders and experts to document existing business processes. - Organize and refine user stories in the product backlog. - Develop functional requirements and acceptance criteria for user stories. - Communicate insights and plans effectively to cross-functional team members and management. - Document and communicate results to the development team. - Collaborate with offshore Business Analysts to ensure understanding of business and technical requirements. - Assist the Scrum Master in prioritizing the product backlog and active development based on business needs. - Participate in daily development team standups and serve as a liaison between stakeholders, development team, and QA testers. - Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements through acceptance testing. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in Software development methodologies and best practices. - 3+ years of experience in Agile Development and expertise in Scrum process, preferably SAFe. - Strong understanding of JSON format, RESTful APIs, and API testing tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, SoapUI. - Experience in building web services using technologies like Java and SpringBoot. - Proficiency in writing detailed acceptance criteria/requirements for APIs, Web Services, and front-end user interfaces. - Ability to drill down from high-level concepts to actionable functional and non-functional requirements. - Experience in API documentation, mapping, and Swagger. - Understanding of Cloud-based Architecture is a plus. - Familiarity with Clarity or Jira preferred. - Experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQL server is advantageous. - Knowledge of Data Power, Web Methods environment, Wireframing, Figma designs, and Swagger hub application.
