Role Overview

We're looking for a Business Strategy Intern to support the founding team with pricing strategy, market benchmarking, and business setup research. You'll work on real strategic problems, helping define how PlayHaus monetizes attention and visibility while documenting the process of establishing a remote company presence in Estonia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy:

  • Research comparable monetization models across dating and social apps (Tinder, Bumble, Happn, etc.).

  • Propose pricing tiers for PlayHaus premium features (e.g., Spotlight, Boost, Extra Visibility Time).
  • Benchmark against competitors and recommend localized pricing strategies for initial launch markets.
  • Business Setup Research:

  • Research and document the step-by-step process and costs of registering and maintaining a company in Estonia

    via e-Residency.
  • Summarize compliance requirements, taxes, and estimated operational expenses for remote founders.
  • Compare options for payment gateways, banking, and accounting tools for EU startups.
  • Pitch Development:

  • Collaborate with the founder to create + refine PlayHaus's investor or partnership pitch.

  • Prepare clear slides/data points supporting monetization strategy and business model.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Create concise strategy memos summarizing research findings, benchmarks, and recommendations.

  • Maintain an organized Notion or Google Drive workspace for reference materials.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong analytical and research abilities able to turn scattered data into clear recommendations.
  • Interest in startup strategy, product monetization, or business operations.
  • Excellent written communication; clarity and brevity matter.
  • Proficient with Google Sheets/Docs, Notion, or similar tools.
  • Bonus: exposure to startup ecosystems, product pricing, or digital business models.
