Business Intelligence Specialist

**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As a Business Intelligence Specialist at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing SQL transformations, maintaining data quality, and supporting Power BI datasets and reports. Your role will involve troubleshooting pipeline failures, documenting data flows, and collaborating with engineers and analysts to resolve data issues. **Key Responsibilities:** - Good communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to business and clients. - Strong SQL skills (mandatory) with proficiency in complex joins, aggregations, and window functions. - Developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL transformations such as views, stored procedures, and window functions. - Experience with at least two of the following: ADF, Snowflake, Power BI, Python. - Familiarity with data modeling concepts (star schema basics) and data quality principles. - Basic Python skills including scripting, reading/writing CSV/JSON, and basic error handling. - Exposure to Snowflake features such as loading best practices, file formats, and role-based access. - Comfortable writing small, testable Python functions and basic unit tests (pytest or unittest). - Building or supporting Power BI datasets and reports including data model and basic DAX. - Documenting data flows, schema definitions, and runbooks for routine operational tasks. **Qualifications Required:** - Good communication skills - Strong SQL skills including complex joins, aggregations, and window functions - Experience with ADF, Snowflake, Power BI, Python - Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data quality principles - Basic Python skills for scripting and handling data - Exposure to Snowflake features and Power BI datasets and reports - Ability to troubleshoot pipeline failures and resolve data issues (Note: The additional details of the company were already included in the Role Overview section and hence omitted in this Job Description.),
