Business Intelligence Developer

You are a developer who will be responsible for designing and delivering strategic data-centric insights by leveraging the next generation analytics and BI technologies at our organization. We are seeking an individual who is highly focused on data-centric and insight-centric approaches rather than being report-centric. Your role will be pivotal in enabling innovation and growth while showcasing a passion for your work and a vision for the future. Your responsibilities will include being the analytical expert at Kaleidofin, utilizing data to solve complex problems through sophisticated quantitative modeling and delivering actionable insights. You will need to develop a wide range of skills encompassing project management, business judgment, analytical problem-solving, and technical depth. Becoming an expert on data and trends, both internal and external to Kaleidofin, will be crucial. You will be expected to communicate key business metrics and create dashboards to empower teams to grasp business metrics independently. Collaboration with stakeholders across teams to drive data analysis for key business questions, communicate insights, and engage in the planning process with company executives will be essential. Automating the scheduling and distribution of reports, supporting auditing, and ensuring value realization are also part of your duties. Partnering with enterprise architects to define and ensure proposed Business Intelligence solutions adhere to an enterprise reference architecture is a key aspect of your role. You will be required to design robust data-centric solutions and architecture that incorporate technology and strong BI solutions to scale up and eliminate repetitive tasks. To be successful in this role, you should have experience leading development efforts throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). A minimum of 2 years of "hands-on" experience in designing Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions is required. Familiarity with tools such as Quicksight, PowerBI, Tableau, and Qlik is considered a plus. Proficiency in SQL, data management, and scripting (preferably Python) is necessary. Strong data visualization design skills, data modeling, and inference skills are highly valued. Experience in managing small teams hands-on is essential. While financial services experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. A strong knowledge of architectural principles, tools, frameworks, and best practices is expected. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization. Candidates with less than a 30-day notice period are preferred. Your skills in PowerBI, Python, Tableau, SQL, and Data modeling will be put to use in this role to drive data-centric insights and solutions for the organization.,
