Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

As a highly skilled and result-driven BI Developer, you will be joining our project team to bring advanced expertise in Tableau, Power BI, and Excel. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Additionally, you will perform data preparation, cleaning, and transformation using Tableau Prep and Power Query, and build optimized data models with calculated fields, LOD expressions, DAX measures, and relationships. It will be essential for you to ensure dashboard and report performance optimization for large datasets, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions with other Microsoft tools and platforms. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining workflows and applications using Power Apps and Power Automate. The ideal candidate for this role will be result-oriented, taking ownership, delivering on commitments, and meeting deadlines without delays. You should be a proactive problem solver, resolving challenges effectively and planning work efficiently. In terms of technical skills, you should have advanced dashboard design capabilities in Tableau with interactive filters and dynamic visualizations. Proficiency in Tableau Prep for data cleaning and transformation, expertise in calculated fields, table calculations, and LOD expressions are required. Additionally, you should possess a strong command of DAX for complex calculations in Power BI, as well as skills in Power Query for ETL processes. Experience in creating data models with relationships and hierarchies, report optimization for large datasets, and integration with Excel, Azure, and SharePoint is also essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas such as INDEX/MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, and LOOKUP, along with skills in data validation, conditional formatting, PivotTables, and text functions for data cleaning and transformation are necessary for this role. Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, and the ability to create, manage, and troubleshoot applications to meet business needs are also key requirements.
