Business Intelligence Analytics Engineer

As a BI Analytics Engineer in the Agile Program Management office, you will be responsible for creating reporting and dashboarding solutions to provide actionable insights, support operational and strategic goals, foster a customer-centric culture, and drive organizational success through continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be on designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards that align with the business and technology goals of the organization. To excel in this role, you will need to collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis. You will work with cross-functional teams to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating complex DAX calculations and measures to facilitate data analysis while ensuring data security and compliance with industry standards and best practices. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports, providing training and support to end users, and staying up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends are also key responsibilities of this role. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in Power BI development, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Moreover, a strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts, experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction, and proficiency in data analysis/profiling, query generation, and performance optimization on traditional RDBMS and Data lake systems are essential for this position. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, data modeling experience supporting OLTP and OLAP use cases, and knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations are highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field with at least 4 years of relevant work experience, development experience with Power BI, and expertise in data analysis and modeling. Experience working with Agile methodology, globally distributed teams, and possessing Power BI certifications are preferred qualifications for this role.
