As a Junior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's supply of products and services. Your main duty will be to strategize to find cost-effective deals and suppliers, aiming to cut procurement expenses and allow the company to invest in growth and people. Your role is crucial in ensuring the procurement of quality products at competitive prices in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include discovering profitable suppliers, initiating business partnerships, negotiating with vendors for advantageous terms, approving necessary orders, finalizing purchase details, examining existing contracts, and tracking key metrics to reduce expenses and enhance efficiency. You will also identify and research potential new suppliers, explore new products and services, assess total costs of purchases, and develop strategies for procurement, storage, distribution, and stock maintenance. Collaboration with key stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations, foreseeing changes in negotiating abilities of suppliers and clients, risk management for supply contracts, and controlling spend to promote long-term savings are also part of your role. The ideal candidate for this position should have completed BSc in Supply Chain Management or MBA in Supply Chain Management/Logistics with good grades. Prior experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required, with knowledge of MS Project being an advantage. Excellent English communication skills, social skills, team player mentality, ability to work under pressure, leadership skills, and professional appearance are essential. Availability for travel, possession of a valid LMV driving license, and knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques are desired. Moreover, you should excel in networking, data analysis, organizational skills, business instincts, mathematics, negotiating, financial analysis, supply chain management procedures, logistics, and strategic planning. Familiarity with Supply Management Software is a plus.,
