Role Overview: As a Business Clients Acquisition Executive in the Retail Banking sector at Standard Chartered in Ahmedabad, your main focus will be on achieving personal sales targets, segmenting your focus on customer needs-based selling, and acquiring new HVS customer relationships. Your role will involve fulfilling customer needs related to Assets, Liabilities, Insurance, and Investments as mandated by the bank. Furthermore, you will be responsible for deepening these relationships by cross-selling various products. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve personal sales targets - Segment focus on customer needs-based selling - Acquire new HVS customer relationships - Fulfill customer needs related to Assets, Liabilities, Insurance, and Investments - Deepen customer relationships by cross-selling various products - Ensure operational quality with error-free customer application and documentation - Practice appropriate sales and marketing skills - Conduct CDD, MLP & TCF diligently - Maintain zero tolerance for Fraud and Mis-selling - Attend training, acquire knowledge, and apply to job function - Adhere to all policies, guidelines, and procedures, complying with local regulatory requirements - Report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager - Must be a graduate, MBAs would be an advantage - Sales experience of at least 1 year in the Retail Banking Industry preferred - AMFI, IRDA (and other relevant certification) certification preferred - Good knowledge of the selected market and customer segments - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Strong interpersonal skills promoting enthusiasm and team spirit Qualification Required: - Graduate/ Post Graduate with a consistent academic career - Extensive sales experience (2 to 5 years) - Sales-focused and highly target-oriented - Competitive awareness & benchmarking skills - Excellent communication, interpersonal & relationship building skills - Banking knowledge of the product - Management Information Skills - Good Interpersonal Skills - Customer and Service Orientation About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank that has been making a positive difference for its clients, communities, and employees for over 170 years.
