About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Lead to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth across international markets.

This is a hands-on hunter / new-business development role, focused on International IT Services Sales, lead generation, client engagement, and deal closure.

The role involves identifying prospects, building relationships with international decision-makers, and converting opportunities into technology services engagements, including Dedicated Development Teams, Staff Augmentation, ODCs, and GCCs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. International Business Development & Lead Generation

• Identify and acquire new clients across the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, Singapore, and Australia.
• Generate leads through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn, email outreach, networking, referrals, and partnerships.
• Research target companies, identify decision-makers, and initiate business conversations.
• Build a strong pipeline of qualified international opportunities for software development, AI/ML, cloud, mobile, web, and digital transformation services.

2. Sales & Client Acquisition

• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to client discussions, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
• Engage with Founders, CXOs, CTOs, CIOs, Product Heads, and Technology Leaders.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present business proposals, commercial offerings, and engagement models.
• Convert prospects into long-term clients and business engagements.

3. Dedicated Teams, ODC & GCC Opportunities

• Identify opportunities for Dedicated Development Teams, Staff Augmentation, and Managed Teams.
• Explore organisations looking to establish or expand Offshore Development Centres (ODCs) and Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India.
• Work with internal leadership and delivery teams to develop suitable engagement models and drive opportunities through commercial closure.

4. Revenue & Pipeline Management

• Work towards assigned new-business and revenue targets.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track opportunities, sales progress, and forecasts through CRM.
• Track deal values, revenue generated, and international IT services contracts successfully closed.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and account expansion.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5–8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 4 years in International IT Services Business Development / B2B Technology Sales.
• Proven experience in lead generation, outbound prospecting, and new client acquisition.
• Strong experience selling software development, IT services, or technology solutions to international customers.
• Hands-on experience managing the complete sales cycle, including client engagement, proposals, negotiations, and deal closures.
• Good understanding of offshore development and India-based technology delivery models.
• Experience selling Dedicated Development Teams, Staff Augmentation, ODCs, or GCCs will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.

This is not a pure lead-generation or account-management role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of new client acquisition, deal closure, and revenue growth.
