Business Development Associate

As a Business Development Associate based in Mumbai at Playo, you will be at the forefront of our business efforts in the region. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with potential and existing partners while also driving engagement with user communities. The role will involve regular local and outstation travel to ensure the success of our business operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Sales:** Identify and reach out to new partners, such as venues and event organizers. Communicate our core value proposition effectively and demonstrate the benefits of our software solutions. - **Post-Sales Activation:** Ensure the successful adoption of our platform by partners post-onboarding. Engage with partners regularly and implement marketing activations at their venues to drive usage. - **Account Management:** Establish and maintain strong relationships with the management of sports complexes in the city. Act as the primary point of contact for partners and manage relationships effectively. - **Community Engagement:** Organize and conduct regular sports activities to increase user acquisition and engagement. Host events on Playo and ensure the seamless execution of activities for a positive user experience. - **Marketing Initiatives:** Collaborate with the marketing team to create local marketing campaigns, both digital and offline, to drive business growth in the region. **Qualifications:** - 1-3 years of prior experience in field sales. - Willingness to travel across the city regularly. - Strong communication, influence, and presentation skills. - Effective organizational and time management abilities. - Capability to work independently and as part of a team. - Possession of a 2-wheeler for travel requirements.
