About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive – Medical Domain to identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, build relationships with healthcare and medical-sector clients, and support revenue growth.

The candidate should have a good understanding of the medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, clinical research, diagnostics, or life sciences industry and possess strong communication and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the medical and healthcare sector.
• Research potential clients, hospitals, clinics, laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, and healthcare organizations.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Understand client requirements and identify suitable company services/solutions.
• Develop strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.
• Achieve assigned business development targets.

2. Lead Generation

• Generate qualified B2B leads through LinkedIn, email, databases, industry directories, networking, and other channels.
• Research and identify decision-makers such as Medical Directors, R&D Heads, Procurement Managers, Business Heads, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate lead and prospect databases.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective clients.
• Qualify leads based on business requirements, budget, timeline, and decision-making authority.

3. Client Communication & Relationship Management

• Communicate with prospective and existing clients through email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and online meetings.
• Understand customer pain points and business requirements.
• Schedule and coordinate client meetings and discussions.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and business partners.
• Follow up on proposals, quotations, discussions, and pending requirements.

4. Medical & Healthcare Market Research

• Research healthcare and medical industry trends.
• Identify potential markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
• Study competitors and their services.
• Track developments in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices, healthcare services, clinical research, and related sectors.
• Prepare market and competitor research reports.

5. Proposal & Sales Support

• Coordinate with internal technical and delivery teams to understand service capabilities.
• Prepare basic business proposals, presentations, quotations, and client communication.
• Support the sales process from lead generation to conversion.
• Maintain records of proposals, client discussions, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.

6. CRM & Reporting

• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipelines.
• Update lead status, follow-ups, meetings, proposals, and conversions.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly business development reports.
• Track individual targets and business development activities.
• Provide regular updates to the reporting manager.

This is a business development role and requires active client outreach, lead generation, relationship building, and sales coordination.
