Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer or Work Study Engineer to collaborate with leading footwear companies across the world in optimizing operations and implementing best-in-class industrial engineering solutions. The role blends technical expertise, process improvement, and software solution consulting, and implementing SATRA Timeline and SATRA Summ aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and profitability across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Consultation & Analysis

Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and improvement areas in footwear manufacturing.

Conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and process assessments to identify efficiency gaps and recommend actionable improvements.

Solution Implementation

Configure and deploy industrial engineering software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Translate business requirements into technical configurations and ensure successful system adoption.

Process Optimization

Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and develop strategies to minimize waste, improve workflow, and enhance quality and productivity.

Introduce lean manufacturing, work measurement, and productivity improvement techniques.

Training & Support

Conduct client training sessions on industrial engineering tools and methodologies.

Develop user manuals, SOPs, and training materials to support long-term sustainability.

Industry Expertise & Best Practices

Stay abreast of developments in footwear production, materials, methods, and industrial engineering technologies.

Share insights and recommendations to help clients maintain a competitive edge.

Project Management

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources from initiation through completion.

Ensure all client engagements are executed within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with manufacturing teams, product managers, and software engineers to ensure alignment between business needs and engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Footwear Development (Master's preferred).

Proven experience as an Application Consultant, Industrial Engineer, or in a similar consulting role within the footwear industry.

SATRA Timeline, SATRA Summ or GSD (General Sewing Data) certification strongly preferred, with hands-on experience in application and analysis.

Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes, including materials, production techniques, work measurement, and quality control.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Willingness to travel occasionally for client site visits and project deployments
