Business Analyst/Domain Expert GIS, Telecom

As an experienced professional with 5+ years in GIS and Telecom domains, your role will involve serving as the in-house expert on GIS, telecom networks, LiDAR processing, and geospatial workflows. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements from telecom operators and GIS stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in translating these requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and spatial process flows. Collaboration with GIS analysts and telecom engineers will be essential to ensure accurate data mapping and representation. Your role will also encompass defining 3D modeling and feature extraction needs for LiDAR and point cloud datasets, aligning development efforts with GIS best practices and telecom industry requirements, and identifying requirements for spatial analysis, network optimization, and AI automation. Additionally, you will create and execute test cases for GIS, point cloud, and telecom-specific use cases, as well as engage clients through workshops and validations to ensure solution alignment. Maintenance of clear documentation of functional specs, use cases, and spatial design artifacts will also be part of your responsibilities.
