Business Analyst - Duckcreek Distribution Management System

As a highly skilled Business Analyst with hands-on experience in DuckCreek's Distribution Management System (DMS), you will play a crucial role in delivering document-driven insurance solutions in collaboration with teams and stakeholders in the insurance domain. Your role at Wits Innovation Lab will involve the following key responsibilities: - Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to address DuckCreek DMS-related requirements effectively. - Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements pertaining to insurance policy documents, forms, and correspondence. - Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product owners to ensure DMS configuration meets the business needs. - Facilitate requirement workshops, user story grooming sessions, and DMS document mapping exercises. - Assist in UAT planning and execution, including tracking and resolving defects. - Create essential documentation such as BRDs, FSDs, process flows, and user guides. - Operate within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, actively participating in daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies. - Communicate efficiently with onshore stakeholders across various time zones. Your required skills and qualifications for this role include: - 3+ years of hands-on experience with DuckCreek DMS. - Strong understanding of P&C insurance products and processes. - Proven experience in working with offshore delivery models. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc. - Ability to interpret XML templates and comprehend document generation logic. Preferred qualifications that would be advantageous for this role: - Prior experience working with US-based insurance clients. - Basic understanding of other DuckCreek modules such as Policy, Billing, Claims. - Certification in Business Analysis or Agile frameworks (e.g., CBAP, CSM).
