Key Responsibilities Operate buses on assigned routes according to schedule and traffic laws. Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops. Ensure passenger safety, assisting elderly, disabled, or young passengers as needed. Maintain a professional, courteous manner when dealing with the public. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus (brakes, lights, fuel, tires). Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the transport manager or dispatcher. Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained. Maintain accurate records such as trip logs, mileage, and fuel usage. Monitor passenger behavior to ensure safety and intervene or report when necessary. Follow emergency procedures in case of an accident, medical incident, or mechanical failure.
