Database Security & Compliance: o Ensure security best practices in database development, including data encryption, access controls, and adherence to internal policies. o Implement data validation and error handling to ensure data integrity and reliability. Collaboration & Documentation: o Work closely with Application Developers, System Administrators, and Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. o Document database designs, processes, and key functionality of PL/SQL procedures for future reference and maintenance. Continuous Improvement: o Stay updated on new Oracle features, patches, and enhancements (especially in Oracle 19c) to apply best practices and integrate the latest capabilities into the development process. o Participate in peer reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
