Brand designer trainer

Techoftheday Academy is seeking a creative, passionate, and skilled Visual Design Trainer to educate and inspire aspiring designers. As a Visual Design Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions on graphic design principles, tools, and industry best practices. Your role will involve imparting a strong grasp of design fundamentals, software proficiency, and guiding students in building compelling portfolios. You will deliver engaging and interactive sessions on visual/graphic design, UI/UX fundamentals, branding, and layout design. Teaching industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, and Canva will be central to your responsibilities. Additionally, developing and updating training materials, projects, and assignments tailored to different learning levels will be crucial. You will guide students in creating professional design portfolios and real-world projects, conducting one-on-one mentoring sessions to provide constructive feedback and skill development guidance. Staying up to date with current design trends, tools, and techniques, and incorporating them into training will be essential. As a Visual Design Trainer, you will assess student performance through practical tasks, quizzes, and reviews. Collaborating with the academic team to continuously improve curriculum and delivery methods will contribute to the overall success of the training program. The ideal candidate for this position should have proven experience in visual design, graphic design, or UI/UX design (minimum 2-3 years preferred). Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, and previous experience in training, mentoring, or teaching is a plus. Ability to simplify complex design concepts for beginners and intermediate learners is highly valued. A Bachelor's degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
