Job Description

Branch Manager - GL South East
Job Purpose
This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for overall branch operations, performance, and profitability of the branch.

Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.

Plan, conduct, and monitor branch and field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.

Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of existing customers.

Conduct error-free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in the branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and audit compliance.

Act as joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.

Keep NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from customers for interest collections.

Demonstrate good planning abilities for smooth functioning of the branch and for developing cohesiveness within the company and among co-workers.

Hire, coach, mentor, and train employees, providing them with timely feedback on their performance.

Maintain quality and performance of the business, prepare various reports, and take necessary actions for business growth in the branch.

Increase Gold Loan business and drive sales of various other third-party products such as NCDs and Gold Coins.

Ensure 100% process compliance and maintain correct valuation at the branch.

Manage error-free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and audit compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

4-7 years of relevant experience required.

Bachelor’s Degree or Post-graduate Degree preferred.

Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management, or client service preferred.

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
