Role Overview We are hiring Area Sales Managers for Lucknow, Sonbhadra, and Allahabad to lead our regional business expansion in solar sales. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, closing sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with subsidy documentation and net metering procedures. Key Responsibilities Drive sales of solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems in the assigned territory. Generate and manage leads from B2C, MSMEs, and institutional segments. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently. Handle end-to-end sales lifecycle: site visit, client pitch, quotation, negotiation, and closing. Educate customers on state and central government solar subsidy schemes and assist in application processing. Coordinate with DISCOMs and internal teams for net-metering approvals and documentation. Submit periodic reports on sales pipeline, conversions, and revenue forecasts. Act as a solo performer with a high level of ownership in the field. Attend trainings, exhibitions, and community outreach programs to promote solar adoption. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in Solar Sales (B2C or B2B). In-depth knowledge of government solar subsidy schemes , DISCOM approvals, and net metering process. Strong communication and customer relationship skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to field work. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Comfortable using basic CRM tools, WhatsApp Business, Excel, and digital communication platforms. Must have a two-wheeler and a valid driving license.
