Job Summary: The Boutique Tailor is responsible for stitching, altering, and designing garments according to customer requirements and boutique standards. This role involves taking accurate measurements, selecting fabrics, and ensuring high-quality finishing to deliver customized, well-fitted garments. Key Responsibilities: Take accurate body measurements of clients. Cut, stitch, and finish garments as per designs and specifications. Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments on ready garments. Assist in selecting fabrics, patterns, and designs based on customer preferences. Maintain high standards of garment fitting, finishing, and detailing. Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs. Ensure timely delivery of orders. Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and tailoring techniques. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a tailor, preferably in a boutique or fashion house. Strong knowledge of stitching, cutting, and garment construction. Attention to detail and precision in tailoring work. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders. Creativity and understanding of current fashion trends. Work Environment: Boutique or designer studio setting. May require flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, during peak demand.
