Development and porting of Board Support Packages (Boot loader & Linux kernel)
- Development and customization of device drivers. - Configuration files, I/O initialization and startup routines. - Network Management - Memory management - File System OS configuration,
Customization/ Extensions to kernels, boot loaders, etc.
• Perform board bring-ups and hardware validation/ debugging. • Techincally Guiding the team members & Ensure no techincal escalation. • Perform the role of technical SPOC and propose Technical solutions
• Experience in
- Software Development using C/C++ development skills with good understanding of object oriented programming, design approach - Linux Device Drivers, subsystems and Linux Environment, Board Bring-up - Linux IPC Mechanism (Socket, Shared Memory, Message Queue, D-Bus), POSIX, Synchronization Methods, Multi Threads, Memory Management etc. - different platform like Qualcomm/ MediaTek/ Nvidia/ Telechips. - ARM architecture. - Embedded linux BSP, Linux Internals is recommended. • Strong Debugging skills in Linux Programming/Environment. • Tools: JTAG based hardware emulators, Hardware debugging tools e.g. Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Protocol Analyzers, Kernel debugging tools e.g. ftrace • Exposure to Functional Safety (ISO 26262) standards
