Role Overview: We are looking for a Business Development Executive with a background in Mechanical Engineering to help us expand our business in the industrial and engineering sectors. The ideal candidate should combine technical understanding with strong communication and client-handling skills. Key Responsibilities: Identify potential customers in industries such as infrastructure, oil & gas, HVAC, and construction. Generate leads through field visits, networking, online platforms, and industry events. Understand technical requirements of clients and recommend appropriate products/solutions. Coordinate with the design, production, and estimation teams for preparing quotations. Conduct product demos, presentations, and technical discussions with clients. Follow up on proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals. Maintain records of business development activities and provide regular reports. Support project handovers and client communication during execution. Required Qualifications: Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory). Experience: 0–3 years (freshers with strong interest in sales may apply). Strong interest in technical sales or industrial marketing. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic CRM tools. Willing to travel locally or regionally for business development. Preferred: Prior internship or experience in B2B industrial product sales. Knowledge of insulation systems, piping, fabrication, or project-based sales.

Quality System Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 as applicable). Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits by customers and certification bodies. Manage all quality-related documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and records. Inspection and Testing: Oversee and perform in-depth inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished precision-machined parts. Utilise advanced precision measuring instruments and techniques, including CMMs, optical comparators, micrometres, callipers, gauges, and surface profilometers. Develop and implement robust inspection and testing protocols, including First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final inspections. Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts. Process Control and Improvement: Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential areas for improvement. Implement and manage Statistical Process Control (SPC) programs to track and control process variations. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality defects and non-conformances, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality inspectors and technicians. Provide training on quality standards, inspection techniques, and the use of measuring equipment. Foster a proactive quality-focused culture among all employees. Customer and Supplier Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality inquiries and concerns. Investigate and resolve customer complaints, providing timely and effective solutions. Evaluate and manage supplier quality, ensuring incoming materials meet required specifications. Reporting and Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare detailed quality reports for management, customers, and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate and organised quality records for traceability and audit purposes.
