Job Title: Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspector Department: Quality Location: SONIPAT Experience: 6 months – 2 years Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Reporting to: Quality Manager / Quality Supervisor Job Purpose: To inspect and verify the quality of incoming raw materials, components, and parts as per defined specifications and standards to ensure compliance before releasing to production. Key Responsibilities: Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, mechanical components, and bought-out items using standard measuring instruments. Verify products against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Use tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc., for dimensional checks. Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming items, and escalate quality issues to the Quality Engineer/Supervisor. Maintain inspection records, reports, and ensure proper traceability of materials. Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for supplier-related issues.
