Job Title: BizTalk Developer

Role Overview:

The BizTalk Developer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication between disparate systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

•                 Design and implement BizTalk solutions using schemas, maps, orchestrations, pipelines, and adapters.
•                 Develop and maintain integration interfaces between internal and external systems.
•                 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BizTalk applications and integrations.
•                 Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
•                 Monitor and optimize BizTalk performance, scalability, and reliability.
•                 Document integration processes, workflows, and system configurations.
•                 Participate in deployment activities and provide production support.
•                 Ensure compliance with security policies and integration standards.
•                 Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

•                 Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
•                 3–8+ years of experience in BizTalk development and support.
•                 Strong knowledge of BizTalk Server (2013 R2, 2016, or 2020 preferred).
•                 Proficiency in .NET (C#), XML, XSLT, WCF, and SQL Server.
•                 Experience with messaging protocols (SOAP, REST, HTTP, FTP, SFTP).
•                 Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
•                 Hands-on experience with BizTalk deployment in clustered environments.
•                 Knowledge of ITIL processes and integration across IPC (Incident, Problem & Change Management).

Preferred Skills:

•                 Experience with Azure Logic Apps or other cloud-based integration platforms.
•                 Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
•                 Experience with EDI formats (X12, HL7) and BizTalk message transformation.
•                 Knowledge of Control-M or similar scheduling tools.
