Job Description

Position: Asst. Engineer/ Engineer / Project Engineer Experience: 2-7 Yrs Openings: 10 Location: Gurgaon JOB DESCRIPTION Role: To be a member of highly skilled Design team and to work on projects using Catia V5 / Unigraphics NX12. Responsibility: Design of Spot Welding Fixture and Grippers for automotive components. Design of Battery Module lines for Global OEMs. Will be responsible for Project Delivery in terms of Quality. Will be responsible in working with the team of 4-5 members. To work closely with Simulation and Planning team on turnkey projects. Software Skill Set: Catia V5 / Unigraphics NX12 /FIDES Other Computer skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools Qualification: BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Automotive with good credentials. Desirable: Knowledge of machining process and feasibility. Sound Technical Knowledge of BIW Welding Fixture and Detailing, 3D-2D checking. A good understanding of European standards would be a plus. Should have some experience in 2D checking. Knowledge of different International OEM standards Strong Analytical and Problem solving ability Professional and learning attitude Good communication and presentation skills Technical / Functional: Design of Spot Wel ding Fixture, Grippers etc. for automotive components. Design of Battery Module lines for automotive industry. Coordination with customers and suppliers for execution of projects. Checking of 3D Design and 2D Detailing. Preparation of BOM, good knowledge in Material selection. Knowledge of clamp plan. Pneumatic layout & Sequence diagram creation. Different engineering calculations. Design of worker and maintenance platforms, AGVs, Skid etc. GD & Tolerance Analysis knowledge. Knowledge of different OEM Standards viz BMW, AUDI, Daimler, VW.
