Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment used in healthcare settings. Your expertise will ensure that all devices function optimally and meet safety standards, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.
• Calibrate medical devices to ensure accurate performance.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Provide field service support, responding promptly to service requests from healthcare facilities.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, calibrations, and equipment status.
• Collaborate with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) representatives as needed for complex repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all maintenance activities.

Experience

• Proven experience in equipment repair and mechanical knowledge within a biomedical or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with computer hardware relevant to medical devices is beneficial.
• Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
