Role & responsibilities

BIM Modeler:

Model Creation & Management

• Develop accurate, detailed, and data-enriched 3D models using industry-standard BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) for infrastructure projects.
• Update models to reflect design revisions and incorporate client, consultant and contractor inputs.
• Ensure models meet project specifications, industry standards, and BIM execution plans.

Clash Detection & Coordination

• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between different disciplines (structural, architectural, MEP) to minimize on-site issues.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination through federated models to ensure seamless design integration.

Documentation & Visualization

• Extract 2D drawings, schedules, and other deliverables from 3D models for design validation and construction documentation.
• Generate visualizations, walkthroughs, and presentations to communicate design intent to stakeholders.

Compliance & Standards

• Adhere to BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines outlined in the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Ensure compliance with project-specific and international standards such as ISO 19650.

Compliance & Information Security

• Maintain data security protocols while managing sensitive project information within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and organizational standards in all deliverables.
