BIM Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work adheres to

  BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)

  and company standards.
• Create and maintain

  federated models

  from project inception through completion.
• Perform

  clash detection and coordination

  for projects, identifying and reporting on model coordination issues, and resolving them using

  Navisworks Manage

  .

• Coordinate all 3D

  BIM models

  effectively with all relevant disciplines.
• Support design and construction reviews and coordination meetings, actively managing issues and action logs.
• Visit job sites as needed to facilitate BIM discussions and ensure proper execution. 
• Develop standard processes for

  model-based quantity take-offs

  , improving construction quantity reporting and forecasting.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve conflicts and ensure project success.
• Ensure the Quality of Deliverables like

  2D drawings like Schematics, P&IDs,

  3D models

  and fabrication drawings

  directly from BIM models.
• Ensure all models are accurate, current, and meet project standards.
• Extract essential data such as

  Bills of Quantities (BOQs), schedules, and reports

  from the BIM model.
• Collaborate with international teams for multi-disciplinary BIM coordination.
• Champion the adoption of BIM workflows and best practices within the team.
• Stay up to date with the

  latest BIM technologies, industry trends, and software updates

  .
• Able to travel or relocate to different locations as needed on short notice 

Required Educational Background & Experience:

• Bachelors / masters degree in engineering/architecture

  .

• Proven 3-7

  Years of experience in BIM. (In project management environment is preferred)
• Cross-sectorial experience in building types and infra 

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Revit, Autodesk Plant 3D, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360

  .

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D

  , including modeling, spec-driven design, and the creation of orthographic and isometric drawings.
• Strong

  P&ID understanding

  and the ability to interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams for system coordination.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as

  ISO 19650, ISO 16739, IEC 62424, and BIM Level 2 standards

  .
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey BIM/CIM and technology solutions to engineering and construction professionals.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with

  Smart Plant 3D (SP3D) / PDMS / Open Plant

  is a plus.
